Culture of an organization can be seen as the format of shared values and beliefs, which keeps organization's people intact, makes the social structure of that organization more strong. But it is not so easy to describe organizational culture in the workplace. With the help of organizational culture, various principles and values such as employee autonomy, customer satisfaction and innovation are held in high regard. In any organization, various elements are intertwined and to get optimum performance, these must be aligned.
Sometimes, organizational culture is referred as glue that holds the members of an organization together. Therefore it becomes a significant contributor to organizational performance. Organizational culture helps the mamnagement to socialize workers for the common goal. In other words, organizational culture is an integrated pattern of human belief, behavior and updated knowledge. The results of any organizational culture depend upon worker's capability and interest for learning and transferring that knowledge others.

The organizational culture is base of an organization, but it doesn't relate to bank balance, staff handbook, mission statement or vision of organization. Though all these elements, significantly contribute to make it successful. Organizational culture can be adopted by two main ways: either with conscious intent and consideration or by contrast to let the culture come but giving it little importance. Organizational culture is a complex framework of professional and organizational values within which employees function for a common goal.
Culture is an abstract complex and construct that is inferred from behaviors. Any perfect organizational culture must be suitable to the success of organization. It should match with well being of employees as well as with operating environment. We say very little about organizational culture but we do too much for this. Building of any organizational culture is slow process thus it can't be imposed with a quick decision. To build an organizational culture is very critical job for the leaders of the organizations because staff sees and interprets every step of leaders. The ways to handle difficult situations of the organization play significant role in creating organizational culture. Sometimes strong cultures are partially built unknowingly by our actions, taken during the hour of crisis. It is easy to build a culture in an organization, if everything is going smooth. Before adopting any organizational culture, one should remain careful because it is very difficult to understand the chosen culture in right spirit and to describe organizational culture in the workplace to employees without leaving any negative impacts. Organizational culture inspires people to communicate freely, to coordinate with others and express their concepts. Now a days, when every organization needs stability for its survival, to have a particular organizational culture has become need of the hour.
